JR CCC VOLUNTEERS - T-SHIRT PICK UP

Volunteers should collect their t-shirts at Winners Edge before the end of Friday.  If you have not volunteered and want to you will still be able to get a shirt so contact Nigel (ngodfrey@ibl.bm) for the time trial and Jeff (jeff@conrads) for the road race.

MOTO FOR VIDEO NEEDED

If you know of a skilled motorcycle driver who isn't already helping this weekend and would be interested in taking a video camera operator around for both the time trial and road race then contact us at info@bermudabicycle.org.  TT starts at 7AM so they would need to be there by 6:30.  Road race starts at 8 on Sunday and goes until about noon.

RACING MATTERS

SHELLY BAY TIME TRIAL RESULTS

42 Riders, including a few BTA members who took advantage of our invitation to participate in BBA time trials, set off on the 10 mile course from Shelly Bay Marketplace.Thanksfully all returned successfully.  Congrats to Mark Hatherley who not only posted the quickest time but figured out that having an early start would be beneficial.  Not sure if he camped out in the parking lt the night before but missing the rain was a good thing.  New course records were set in the 15/16 category by Ryan Gunn and Izabella Arnold, both of whom will be demonstartion their TT skills this weekend in the Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships.  Full results of the Shelly Bay TT are below.

Picture of the week

Table for two?  Who says there are not benefits to race organizing.  Rodney Davies and his date enjoyed the view from a delightful road-side table for two at Maison Carter House, fine dining in St. David's.
