CYCLING NEWS

BUTTERFIELD BERMUDA GRAND PRIX 2009

Time is running out to register to race this weekend.  You must register online at BikeReg.com (see link below) before 5:00PM on Thursday, September 17th.

Full event details will be available at www.bermudagrandprix.com.

For those not racing, we need your assistance with each of the races.  Of course you will get a stylish t-shirt for your efforts!  Sunday morning's course in Southside goes to the airport roundabout so a few extra bodies are required.  Sunday afternoon in Hamilton will need some additional assistance as well.  We are greatful to Butterfield for encouraging their employees to assist us with marshalling.

Picture of the week

Chelsea and Chris are back from the Green Mountain Stage Race with tales galore, some taller than others.  Mr. Goudge thought that the two pictures below were indicative of the event; bit of blood and plenty of Bloody Marys.  If only Front Street was so receptive.

If you want to submit a picture or two for the next newsletter then please forward the image to newsletter@bermudabicycle.org.
