ANNUAL AWARDS DINNER - JAN 16

For the last time we are correcting the date to Saturday, January 16th.  Sorry, I thought that the 17th was Saturday, but it isn't.  So, plan on a great time at the dinner listening to the dulcet tones of Mr. Robbie Ventura.  Robbie was a teammate of Lance Armstrong at US Postal, founded Vision Quest Coaching, and is a commentator for Versus (OLN) network.  Details on tickets to the dinner as well as a planned clinic with Robbie will be made available shortly.

CLUB PERSON OF THE YEAR AWARD

We are seeking input from members for the Club Person of the Year award. This award has been given to individuals as well as entities.  The 2008 award was given to Conyers, Dill & Pearman.  If you would like to suggest someone for this then please send an email to Nigel Godfrey at nigel@horseshoe.bm.

RACING MATTERS

FIRST MTB RACE A SUCCESS

The first race of the 2009/10 mountain biking season was last Sunday at Ft. Scaur.  Turnout was pretty good and the course created enough challenges for everyone.  Full results can be found below.  Maybe the mythical Team Madison will make the next race!
