A general meeting of the members will be held in February at which time the 2009 financial report will be presented.

For 2010 the Boar and Executive are comprised of:

Dannielle Bezant

Karl Outerbridge

Kris Hedges

Greg Hopkins

Executive Committee

Peter Dunne - President

Nigel Godfrey - Treasurer

Thanks to all who came to the meeting.  For those who missed the live version, a copy of the President's Report is below.

THURSDAYS AT THE TRACK

Junior cyclists age 14-18 are invited to join the various school clubs at the north field of the National Sports Centre on Frog Lane on Thursday afternoons from 3:45 to 5:00.  There are some skills drills and short races that are designed to be fun.  The BBA has permission to use this paved track for senior school students and we would like to extend this to those who attend schools without  cycling program.  If you have any questions send them to president@bermudabicycle.org.

RACING MATTERS

SECOND MTB RACE AT FERRY REACH THIS SUNDAY

Sunday afternoon saw the Conrad's series contested out at the immaculate Ferry Reach course.  Dry conditions and Tracey Wright meticulous preparation of the trails made for exciting racing in all categories.  Full results are listed below.

This Sunday the MTB action moves to Admiralty House, starting at 9:00AM.  With the weekend weather looking a bit damp extra nobby tires might be necessary.

BBA TO TOUR OF BATTENKILL

This looks like it will be a great trip to New York in early April.  Already 15 riders and 5 or 6 groupies are planning on making the voyage to participate in what is quickly becomming one of the better races in the US.  Details on registration, travel and housing can be otained from Chelsea, either in Bicycle Works or by email at ride@bicycleworks.bm.

CYCLO-CROSS BERMUDA!!!!

This event is now definite and promises to be a great way of working off the excess of Christmas dinner and a quality social event.  Any bike will work for this, just be prepared to dismount, jump barriers, run a few inclines, ride through sand and get bogged down in mud.
