Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships

We're finally all back in Bermuda after a fantastic trip to Curacao for the Junior
Caribbean Cycling Championships. Hopefully you will have read either the little
blog entries (www.bermudacycling.blogspot.com) or the extensive coverage provided
by the Royal Gazette. Of course Earl Basden's IslandStats.com had all the up-
So the girls got their medals in a great podium ceremony after the road race and we're well supported by the boys. Full results are on the blog but they alone don't tell you then full race story where the racing was furious, temperatures slightly warm and the atmosphere of Curacao welcoming. From our reception at the airport to our departure 4 days later, we were well taken care of by our hosts at all times. Let's hope that our cycling community rallies around the event as well when Bermuda hosts the event next year.
