Bermuda Bicycle Association

Race categories
Road Race categories are as follows (with separate male and female categories in each):
Ages are determined as of December 31 of the current year.
Riders, both seniors and juniors, will chose the category in which they wish to ride, based generally on ability and the appropriateness of the race distances (see below).
Juniors 15 and 16 years old may choose to ride in senior A or B categories (for example, those juniors seeking to represent Bermuda in the Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships).
The Social/Novice category is intended for those who just want to come out and ride
on race day for bragging rights on the day -
