Bermuda Bicycle Association

Schools Program
The BBA has launched an initiative to promote cycling in the island’s senior secondary schools through the establishment of school cycling clubs.
Led by BBA president Peter Dunne, with the help of volunteers and the support of local bike shops, clubs have been set up for students at the Berkeley Institute, CedarBridge Academy and Mount St Agnes Academy. A mountain bike club is also operating at the Bermuda Institute.
The initiative uses bikes and equipment donated by BBA members and members of the public. The BBA also uses donated funds to provide helmets, pedals and related equipment.
The BBA makes bikes available to the students and through volunteers, provides training, including accompanied group rides.
The intention is to roll the program out to more schools if volunteers and on-
