Route 1987 - 2001: Starts near Market Place in Somerset - Middle Road to Burnt House Hill - left over Burnt House Hill and Harbour Road to Hamilton - Front Street - right onto Queen Street - right onto Church Street - left onto Cedar Avenue - Finish down Cedar Avenue in front of the Leopards Club.

Sprint to the finish between Sinclair Packwood & Buddy Ford - a photo finish without a photo won by Buddy Ford.
1988

Sprint  between Daren Dowling and Forest Nusum - Daren Dowling won by a bike length.  Crash in Southampton when a dog ran across the road.

Carlos DeSilva made a mad dash to the finish line to double Sinclair Packwood and win by less than a wheel length.

Sprint finish.  Crash took out 8 riders among them Sinclair Packwood.

Carlos DeSilva cruised across the finish line when Sinclair Packwood and Mike Lee collided at the top of Cedar Avenue.

Route 2002 - 2005: Starts near the Market Place in Somerset - Middle Road to Burnt House Hill - Left over Burnt House Hill and Harbour Road to Hamilton - Front Street to the Bird Cage - 1800 turn around the Bird Cage and east on Front Street - Left onto Court Street and Right onto Reid Street - Cavendish Road to Montpelier Road - Left onto Montpelier Road to Frog Lane -Finish at the top of the hill (East side)

Teenager Ricky Sousa Jr became the youngest ever champion after pipping Wayne Scott who unluckily threw his chain with 50m to go.

Neil de Ste Croix won unchallenged after a solo break at Inverurie Hill.

Wayne Scott outsprints Garth Thomson and Thomas Godfrey after breaking at the top of Queens Street.
2009
Olympian Graeme Miller holds off Wayne Scott by a couple of bike lengths after a sprint starting at the bus station on Church Street.
2010
Wayne Scott takes advantage of a  Garth Thomson fall at the top of Queens Street to power to a third win..
2011
Darren Glasford makes a move at Queen Street to edge top junior Dominique Mayho
