Time Trial Series

The Time Trial Series runs concurrently with the Road Race Series from the end of March to the end of September.  It consists of 2 short, 2 medium and 2 long distance races.

Categories

Race Entry

The Time Trial Series is divided into male and female age categories for adults and juniors based on age.  Adult categories are Open (ages 17 to 39) and Masters (ages 40 and over) and there are multiple junior categories.

Junior Gearing Restrictions apply to Time Trial events.
Except for the National Championships no pre-registration is required. Riders must register on the day and arrive in sufficient time to do so.

Races generally start at 7:30AM, with riders going off at 1 minute intervals.

Participants must be paid up members of the BBA.

Individual Series Competition

The winner of the series is the rider with the lowest combined time over all three routes.

Subject to weather and road conditions, two events are scheduled at each distance, with a rider’s best time at each distance counting towards the overall series championship.
