Time Trials

The Capital G Time Trial Series is run over three distances, with the winner being the rider with the highest combined average speed (or the lowest combined time) over all three routes.

 

Subject to weather and road conditions, three events are scheduled at each distance, with a rider’s best time at each distance counting towards the overall series championship.

The time trial race season comprises of the following competitions:

 

• Capital G Time Trial Series
• Bank of Bermuda Foundation National Championships

Time Trial organiser

Time trials are organized by a committee currently headed by:

All queries regarding time trials should initially be directed to one of the committee members.

 

Except for the National Championships no pre-registration is required. Riders must register on the day and arrive in sufficient time to do so.

 

Races generally start at 7:30AM, with riders going off at 1 minute intervals.

 

An entry fee of $5 for seniors (FREE for juniors riders 18 and younger) is payable for most races.

 

Participants must be paid up members of the BBA - however, we are pleased to extend an invitation to members of the Bermuda Triathlon Association to participate at a fee of $7 per race, which includes temporary membership for the race.
